Deshawn Harris vs Martin Illsley: Round 2 is a fingerboarding video and the second installment of the Round series featuring Deshawn Harris and Martin Illsley. Like the first Round, Round 1 was to show transitional fingerboarding and technical fingerboarding coexisting and creating a good video. However unlike Round 1, Round 2 featured better editing with titles, slowmo and quality footage.
Layout and training video
Prior to the release of the video, Deshawn released a training video to advertise Round 2's release. It featured clips of basic technical tricks and freestyling. The release for Round 2 came out around the end of 2004, much like Round 1 before it.
Like Round 1, Round 2 featured Martin and Deshawn in a "battle" setting while the video itself was not a battle. Martin's video part went first this time around, leaving Deshawn's part at the end while both seperated by ads from each rider's respective teams. This video also featured an ad by Priest Fish decks which featured Deshawn using a fish deck and explaining that all he needs was a flat surface and a deck to have fun. Many viewers stated that it was simple though inspirational and further hyped Priest as a product.
