Transitional fingerboarding is a style of fingerboarding which calls the fingerboarder to perform tricks on or off of surfaces that are consistably higher or longer than that of technical fingerboarding. Many of the spots would be hand rails or large drops and ramps. Transitional riding is a complete contrast to technical riding in that its looks are more simplistic than the multipule tricks in and out of grinds such as in technical riding.
